About the workshop:
Stress, anxiety, worry, cyclical thinking, habits, insecurity, patterns, developmental trauma and shock traumas are inherent in our lives.
They can leave us feeling either disconnected, ungrounded, unbalanced, guarded, overwhelmed, fearful and stuck in the past or hyper-vigilant and constantly worrying about the future.
Imagine feeling:
- Fully "present" and "in the moment"
- Grounded
- Centered
- Boundaried
- Embodied
- Empowered
- Safe
- Joyful
When we reconnect to our survival instincts and embodied intelligence, we can re-negotiate past traumas and handle current stress more effectively, which brings with it a sense of empowerment, safety and joyfulness.
This weeklong workshop is an educational and experiential journey WITHIN, including activities like:
- Meditative hikes
- Embodied meditation
- Partner work
- Developing new resourcing skills
- Group discussions
- Felt-sense and boundary exercises
- Journaling
- Orienting exercises of the external and internal environments
- Individual one-on-one sessions*
With over 20 years experience, Brian Mahan creates a powerful space for healing in a safe, fun and loving container.

- Self-healing
By peeling back the layers of "ego" (negative thought patterns, limiting & preconceived beliefs), we assess the essence of the individual self, allowing authentic and profound healing to happen.
The exploration will include:
- Vishudananda Yoga - a unique blend of Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and dance movement
- Mantras in Motion - chants explored through guided movement
- Asana Alignment & Pranayama - this practice with help adjust the nervous system and prepare the practitioner for a deeper and smoother Kundalini experience
- Partner yoga
- private yoga sessions*
Absolutely no experience is necessary. Open to people of all physical abilities. Curiosity, openness and willingness required.
*For an additional fee, private one-on-one Somatic Experiencing sessions (see briandmahan.com or traumahealing.com) and one-on-one yoga sessions (see BluYoga.com) are available.
